MY RACE CAREER
My great-grandfather, Kurt Sauter, was a Swiss racing-and-sportscar builder and also a racer.
With his self-constructed racing car, he won as a racer on the beginning and later on as a team chef good results both at national and international races. During his lifetime, as a passionate motorsports man, he built about 30 vehicles of his original brand
"Sauter Spezial".
After 72 years, his great-grandson, Michael Sauter stepped into a Formel 4 monoposto racecar.

How everything begins...

On Christmas Day of 2011, I got a used-kart with Comer engine. I had so much fun driving in the first race with this kart.

Swiss Kart Championship 2013 4th place
With the team Sauter I joined some more races. There were many things to learn...
The First Champion Title
Vega Trofeo Championship 2014 1st place
At the Vega Chamionship I won the Champion Title with the Mini Kart. I learned a lot about the race with the help of KartBox team by Kurt Wenger.

Vega Trofeo Championship 2016 1st place
In 2015, I missed some races because of my ski accident. Instead, I won the Champion Title in the category of Super Mini in 2016.

My elder sister has also been driving kart races.
In 2017, I joined the IAME World Final for the first time and finished in the 5th place.

Kart season 2020
After the long Corona break, the kart season has begun in a limited form. I could get 2nd place in Levier, 3rd place in Mirecourt at the Vega Trofeo Championship and 3rd place in Wohlen at the Swiss Kart Championship.

Step up to ADAC Formel 4
At the Nürburgring I could successfully finish my first season of ADAC Formel 4 with the 2nd place of Rookie Championship.
